Rewinder
The rewinder unit accepts the empty carrier material. If the label liner moves, this will lead
to an oscillating movement of the dancer arm, and thus control the rewinding speed.
Operation and displays
The labeling machine can be conveniently controlled via a HMI display. This makes it
possible to call up and save several label formats and system preferences in so-called
configuration data sets.
All controls (drive unit, unwinder, winder) can be parameterized separately, whereby the
controller of the drive unit coordinates all processes between the components.
All operating states (ready condition, warning, fault...) are shown on the HMI display and
also shown as digital signals at the I/O interface (for evaluation). In conjunction with the
optional signal lamp, operating conditions can also be visually detected at an early stage.
Identification of the labeler via the nameplate
The nameplate is normally located on the side of the housing. Among other things, the se-
rial number (S/N) and the date of manufacture (YEAR) can be read.
