Cleaning of sensors
Unintentional start-up of the labeler
When cleaning the photoelectric proximity switches and sensors,
an unintentional reaction of the labeler can be triggered by
approaching or touching them.
- Switch off the labeler before cleaning.
Sensors often consist of two opposite sensor optics, a part which emits infrared light, and
a part that receives it. To ensure that the function of the optical surfaces of the electronic
components is not impaired, they should never come into contact with solvents! Keep the
optics of photoelectric and light barriers dust and grease-free.
Prerequisites
Labeler is separated from the voltage and compressed air.
No product handling.
Tools required
Compressed air spray (* 21800768)
Soft brush
* Product recommendation! Can be obtained from the Bluhm Weber Group using the 8-digit item number.
Instruction
How to clean the light switches and sensors.
Do not use the operational compressed air supply for the subsequent clean-
ings, since this is sometimes insufficiently dry (oil/water residues). If the
electronics come into contact with moisture, this will lead to damages!
Carefully clean all sensors (product sensor, label sensor...) with a soft brush
and compressed air spray.
