Twin label mode
In the Twin-Label mode, two labels of different lengths can be applied one after the other
on the label liner with a trigger signal (e.g. on the front and back of a product). This ar-
rangement (short-long label or long-short label) must be repeated continuously. The Twin
Label mode can also be used with two labels of the same length.
Prerequisites
 The initial commissioning (see page 61) has been completed successfully.
 Labeler is supplied with voltage and label material.

Navigate to the configuration menu and set the parameter "Label/trigger" to
the value 1.

Navigate to the menu page "Machine parameters".
By pressing the rotary knob briefly, you reach the submenus, which include
all machine parameters of the labeler. Password authentication is in place,
to protect the parameters. (Refer to page 73 for instructions on password-
protected pages).

Activate the Twin Label function with parameter 058:
short label comes first = value 1
long label comes first = value 2.
During the calibration process, the labeling system advances several labels
that must be manually removed. Stuck-together labels may cause system
faults.
Entanglement hazard! Keep away from moving system parts.

Navigate to the "Teach-in" menu page and start the automatic label calibra-
tion.
After the advance, the last label stops flush at the peel bar.
If the calibration has not been carried out successfully,"ERROR" is displayed
and the procedure has to be carried out again.
Another application in the Twin-Label mode is to apply the two different labels individually
with an adjustable distance.
Make the following setting in contrast to the above instruction.
