Decommissioning the labeling system
In case of downtimes which last several hours, the label liner must
be removed from the dispenser to avoid errors during the restart.
The label material receives a curvature in the bend area of the deflection rollers, which
can lead to errors during the dispensing operation. This characteristic of the labels and the
degree of curvature depend on the material and can vary greatly. Ambient conditions such
as high temperatures and high humidity can enhance the effect.
Remove critical label material from the labeler before prolonged breaks (e.g. after
the end of work)!
Prerequisites
Labeling operation has been concluded.
Instruction
How to shut down the labeler.
Disconnect the power supply and, if necessary, the compressed air supply.
Remove the label material from the labeler.
If the labeler is to be stored and/or transported, please observe the notes on
storage conditions (see page33).
