Sync Length
This parameter is used to set the impulse length of
the Sync signal, which is provided at the I/O inter-
face.
If the value is set to "0", the Sync Signal will be
event-driven (BUSY signal). It is activated with the
first relevant trigger signal when [Sync Start] is
also zero and is then deactivated at the end of the
application process.
Fig. 8-37: Sync Length
(Only) in combination with [Sync Start] (see Page 83) can the sync signal be extended
by the value set here. The adjustment range is 0.0 900.0 mm.
The display of the "Sync Length" parameter in the configuration menu can be acti-
vated or deactivated with the 020 "Sync Conf" machine parameter in the system mode.
This diagram is meant to illustrate the dependency of "Sync Start" and "Sync Length":
Sync Start = 0

Sync Start > 0

Sync Length = 0
Sync Length > 0
