Remove the packaging material and the transport security mecha-
nism only at the deployment site. Transport the labeler in its origi-
nal packaging to the "labeling location". An unsecured labeler can
easily tip over during transport.
Prerequisites
The labeler is packaged and ready for delivery (deviations are possible), i.e.:
it is on a pallet
it may be wrapped with stretch film and/or in a transport box
it may be secured with additional strapping bands and possibly has its rubber
feet screwed to the pallet (only with a protective enclosure)
Tools required
Suitable transportation vehicles (forklifts, platform floor trucks or double pallet
trucks...) with sufficient load-bearing capacity (for weight specifications see chapter
Technical Specifications). When using a forklift truck, you must drive slowly during
the transport.
To lift the system from the pallet, it could be required to use a double pallet truck or
a forklift truck or...
2 - 3 persons, whereby the wearing of safety footwear is mandatory.
Stable sub-base for the labeler.
(Safety) steel strap cutter to remove the strapping.
Wrench for transport protection.
