Risk of tripping through connection cables.
Connecting cables for power, compressed air, as well as data
and signal lines are potential tripping hazards and can cause se-
rious injuries.
- Relieve the stress from the connecting cables and route in
such a manner that no danger zones can develop.
*² Hazard from compressed air.
Whipping compressed air hoses, discharged parts or uncon-
trolled moving parts can cause injuries.
- Before creating the compressed air connection, check all
pneumatic connections for tightness and firmly attach them if
necessary.
- The pneumatic system intended for maintenance must be
vented before dismantling of the pneumatic components is
performed.
There is a risk of injury on edges and corners.
Sharp edges and sharp corners can cause abrasions and cuts to
the skin. Always keep the work area clean.
- Caution when working in the vicinity of sharp edges and sharp
corners. Remove any items which are not required.
- In case of doubt wear protective gloves.
The labeler (motor) and control unit must be grounded. Therefore,
the socket into which the supply cable is plugged must have an
effective protective grounding conductor. Short circuits against
the housing can have a negative effect on the internal DC power
supply and should therefore be avoided.
*² only with an appropriately equipped system
