8. Measure the air temperature sensor
resistance.
9. Remove the junction box cover, and then
disconnect the engine ECM coupler b.
10. Check the wiring harness for continuity.
11. Connect the engine ECM coupler b, and
then install the junction box cover.
12. Install the air temperature sensor, and
then connect the air temperature sensor
coupler a.
Checking the air pressure sensor
1. Disconnect the air pressure sensor cou-
pler a.
2. Turn the engine start switch to “ON,” and
then measure the input voltage at the air
pressure sensor coupler.
3. Remove the air pressure sensor.
Air temperature sensor resistance
(reference data):
2.21–2.69 kΩ at 20 °C (68 °F)
0.32 kΩ at 80 °C (176 °F)
Wiring harness continuity:
Terminal 1–Terminal 7
Terminal 2–Terminal 8

Orange (O)–Black (B)
4.75–5.25 V
