Installing the shift rod and shift
bracket
1. Install the bushing a, and then install the
circlip b.
2. Install the ball c, spring d, and bolt e,
and then tighten the bolt e to the
specified torque.
3. Install the shift lever f to the set pin a of
the shift rod assembly g.
4. Install the shift rod assembly g, and then
align the center of the set pin a with the
mark b on the bottom cowling.
5. Install the shift bracket assembly h, and
then install the bushing i and clip j to
the shift lever f.
Bolt e: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13.3 ft·lb)
