Upon actuation of the Enter key the AC 800F will repeat its last previous diagnosis
message. If required, initialize a reset of the AC 800F to be able to see all messages
displayed together via the diagnostic interface (see Section 5.4).
Failure LED, power supply module

• Orange static Hardware self-test is running (Run/Stop and Prim/Sec LEDs also
permanently lighted orange)

• Red Hardware self-test error
• Red flashing Boot Loader error
Slots E1 and E2 are special. The modules plugged in these slots are switched on and
activated by the Boot Loader, already. After the module test has been run, the State
LED indicates the module state according to the table below:
State LED, Ethernet module
• Off No voltage applied, module is separated
• Green Power supply switched on, module identified and ready to operate
according to configuration
• Orange Power supply switched on, module identified:
- Intermediate state after normal module startup or
- State in configuration mode of Boot Loader (see Section 5.4)
• Red Module power supply switched on:
- Not yet identified (intermediate state after normal startup
of the module or
- Module test error
Normally, only the Power LED on the power supply module and the State LED on the
Ethernet module(s) are lighted green. The AC 800F is waiting for an Ethernet
communication via slot E1 or E2.
The AC 800F Boot Loader requires that at least one Ethernet module
is plugged in slot E1 or E2. Otherwise, the Failure LED flashes red with
a frequency of around 2Hz.
