Active bus termination at both ends. A total length of all
branches of up to 6.6 m is only permissible with
transmission rates ≤ 1.5 Mbit/s. No branches should be
used with 12 Mbauds

Number of stations 32 stations per segment without repeaters. Up to 127
stations possible with repeaters.
Connector plugs Preferably 9-pinSub-D connectors.
