3.15.2.2 Functionality
The QTY_BAD function block evaluates the quality bits of the input signal and passes
it as a Boolean signal for the application.
The IN input can be connected to any logic application signal (logic function output,
binary input, application function output or received GOOSE signal). Due to
application logic quality bit propagation, each (simple and even combined) signal has
quality which can be evaluated.
The OUT output indicates quality bad of the input signal. Input signals that have any
other than test bit set, will indicate quality bad status.
