Procedure
Use this procedure to install the I-211M-H indoor ONT.
1 Prepare the cables at the site where the ONT will be installed.
2 Mount the ONT:
a If you are installing the ONT on-wall in a telecommunications room, see
DLP 117.
b If you are installing the ONT in-wall in a pre-constructed telecommunications
cabinet, see DLP 118.
3 Review the ONT connections; see Figure NTP 157-1.
Note 1 — When grounding the I-211M-H indoor ONT, either follow the
procedure documented in this DLP or local authorities or practices.
Note 2 — Observe the following:
• The I-211M-H indoor ONT is intended to be installed in accordance
with the applicable requirements of the NEC or CEC. Local
authorities and practices take precedence when there is conflict
between the local standard and the NEC or CEC.
• The I-211M-H indoor ONT must be installed by qualified service
personnel only.
• When transitioning the packaged unit from one environmental
condition to another, let the unit remain in the sealed packaging
until it has stabilized to the new environment. This prevents the unit
from forming internal condensation.
• See I-211M-H detailed specifications in the unit data sheet for the
temperature ranges for this ONT.
