Figure NTP 137-1: I-111G-A indoor ONT connections
Figure NTP 137-1 shows the connections for an I-111G-A indoor ONT. The
I-011G-A, I-011G-B, and I-110G-A ONTs are identical to the I-111G-A ONT except
the I-011G-A and I-011G-B ONTs do not have a POTS port and the I-110G-A ONT
does not have a Type F coaxial connector.
4 Disconnect the SC/APC adaptor from the fiber optic connector on the ONT
(DLP 133); see Figure NTP 137-1.
5 Replace the ONT with a new unit:
a On a flat surface, such as a desk, substitute the replacement ONT for the old
ONT that is resting horizontally; go to step 6.
b In a stand.
i Unsnap the old ONT from the channels built into the stand. Snap the
new ONT into channels built into the stand, ensuring it is securely held.
ii Place the new ONT with stand vertically on a flat surface; go to step 6.
c On a wall.
i Slide the old ONT upward and then away from the two mounting screws
until the ONT is free of the wall.
ii Slide the wall mount keyholes on the ONT enclosure or fiber storage tray
of the replacement ONT down over the mounting screws until it is
securely seated.
6 Connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 ports (DLP 101).
7 Connect POTS and coaxial cables as required:
a For the I-111G-A indoor ONT, connect the POTS cable to the RJ-11 port
(DLP 123) and the coaxial cable to the Type F connector (DLP 116).
b For the I-110G-A indoor ONT, connect the POTS cable to the RJ-11 port
(DLP 123).
c For the I-011G-A and I-011G-B indoor ONT, connect the coaxial cable to the
Type F connector (DLP 116).
