4 Place the ONT unit:
a On a flat surface, such as a desk, resting horizontally; go to step 5.

b In a stand.
i Snap the ONT unit into the channels built into the stand, ensuring it is
securely held.
ii Place the stand and ONT vertically on a flat surface. Figure NTP 121-2
shows the ONT and stand.
