DS1 connections The RJ-48C DS1 connections support unstructured DS1.
Ethernet

through Ethernet RJ-45 connectors.
PON optical
connection
This connection is provided through an SC/APC connector for the physical
interface to the PON.
Power connection A terminal is provided to connect an external –12 V dc UPS to the ONT.
