NTP 131 — Replace an I-010G-U indoor
ONT
Purpose
This DLP provides the steps to replace an I-010G-U indoor ONT.
General
The DLPs listed in this NTP describe mounting and cabling for the I-010G-U indoor ONT.
Prerequisites
See the listed DLPs for prerequisites.
Required tools
The required tools are:
• wire strippers
• #2 Phillips screwdriver
• fiber optic splicing tools
• RJ-45 cable plug crimp tool
Procedure
Use this procedure to replace an I-010G-U indoor ONT.
1 Deactivate the ONT services (DLP 131). If you are using the SLID feature, this step
is not required. The ONT and the services can remain in service (IS).
2 Disconnect the power and Ethernet cables; see Figure NTP 131-1 and NTP 131-2.
