3 Replace the old unit with a new unit.
4 Connect up to four Ethernet cables to the RJ-45 ports (DLP 101).
5 Connect the E1/T1 cable assembly to the RJ-48C ports (DLP 104).
6 If the B-0404-A business ONT is powered using:
a a power converter, go to step 7.
b a UPS, go to step 8.
7 Install the power converter.
i Connect the ac power cable to the power converter (1AF 01226 AK), and plug
the power converter into the electric outlet as shown in Figure NTP 101-2.
Note — Observe the following:
• The power converter must be located within 5 ft (1.5 m) of the
device.
• The power converter must be located within 6 ft (1.8 m) of an
electrical outlet.
• Units must be powered by a Listed or CE approved and marked
limited power source power supply with a minimum output rate of
12 V dc, 2 A.
