3FE 50683 AJ The O-421E-B supports an RF
return path when used with a
Gemtek dongle (3EM 23162 AA).
This device uses HPNA 3.1
technology over coaxial to
establish the RF return path. A
12 V dc cable or optional Power
Injector (3EM 23161 AA) can be
used to power the dongle.

video services, and have eight
RJ-11 voice ports, two
10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45
Ethernet data ports, and one

separately orderable,
Alcatel-Lucent approved
external 48 V dc UPS with
battery backup is required.
Throughput of the optical
traffic across the GPON is
2.488 Gb/s downstream and
1.244 Gb/s upstream. The
10/100Base-T Ethernet ports
support wire speed rates of 100
Mb/s downstream and 100 Mb/s
upstream for customers using
an average PC and receiving
average data traffic. The
1000Base-T GigE ports support
average rates from 200 to 500
Mb/s, based on packet size.
The AH and AG variants support
a new SoC release. PLL is
supported by Synch-E
(Synchronous Ethernet). The AG
and AJ variants use an SC/APC
connector.

The O-821M-E ONT meets or
exceeds the specifications of
MoCA 1.0 and MoCA 1.1 as
determined by the Multimedia
over Coax Alliance (MoCA).
The AC and AD variants use and
support a later release of MoCA
functionality.
The AA and AC variants use an
OptiTap GPON connector. The
AD and AE variants uses an
SC/APC connector.
