Fault Messages Chapter 3
98 Cooling Fan Contactor Open The cooling fan contactor is opened while the drive is running.
This fault only applies to the UL version of the PowerFlex 6000 drive.
Check fan contactor.
99 DCS Communication Error There is a DCS communication error. Check the communication cable between the DCS and
drive.
100 Motor Over Temperature The motor is over temperature.
This fault only applies to a motor with the NT538 temperature monitor.
If the temperature monitor is not present, check the related terminal
on the PLC if connected to power.
Check the motor temperature.
101 Filter Cabinet Over Temperature The filter cabinet is over temperature. • Verify the temperature of the filter cabinet.
• Verify temperature monitor is over temperature
threshold setting for the filter cabinet.
• Check hardware of the temperature monitor in the
filter cabinet.
102 Motor Side HECS Power Supply Fault There is a short circuit in the motor side HECS power supply. • Check the power supply of the motor side HECS.
• Check the relay status.
• Check the connection between the relay and PLC.
• Check the HECS.
