Chapter 1 Functional Descriptions
Deceleration Control
This function is used to avoid motor charging back to DC bus during ramp
down, and DC bus over voltage trip.
The following parameters are used for this function:
Deceleration Control Enable (P396)
Deceleration Control Active Power Level for Release Output Frequency
(P397)
Deceleration Control Active Power Level for Hold On Output Frequency
(P398)
Deceleration Control Compensation Threshold Scaling Factor (P434)
Deceleration Control Frequency Range (P435)
During the ramp down process, if active power is lower than Deceleration Control
Active Power Level for Hold On Output Frequency plus active power threshold, the
drive output frequency will be held. However if active power is higher than
Deceleration Control Active Power Level for Release Output Frequency plus active
power threshold, the ramp down process will continue.
Protection
Protection includes faults and warnings. Faults include system faults, logic faults,
and power cell faults. Warnings include system warnings, logic warnings, and
power cell warnings. For more information, see Fault Messages
on page 201 and
Warning Messages
on page 209.
