Switch to pump programme and run the machine.
Is the pump motor
functioning?(This can also be
understood by touching the filter
cap.)

* Check and clean the pump filter
* Check if the discharge hose is at
appropriate height and length, correct
as necessary
* Make sure that the discharge hose is
not kinked or broken.
Take in water and operate the pump
programme again
Is there E5 error?
Yes
Can the pump drain the water?
(pump might be triac diode. Pump
cannot pump even though it creates
vibration.)

Is there 220
VAC
voltage?
While the pump programme is running,
without removing the control card or any
socket, check 220 VAC between pins 1 and
2 (purple and green) of KN12. Picture E5-1:
Replace the control
card

Turn off machine. Remove front wall of
machine to check the pump coil resistance.
There must be approx. 180 Ohm resistance
between the two pins (purple-green) of pump
connector. Picture E5-2 Check. Should not
be open circuit / short circuit

Replace the pump.
Is there loose contact or break on the
connections between the control card
and pump motor and also at socket
ends?
Repair cables and/or
cable ends.

and run it again
