Figure 8.3 Graphic of heating with hysteresis
Once the machine reaches the max. temperature which was set for the machine (Tset),
heater is deactivated, but the heating step remains.
When the temperature falls at an amount determined in the software (T), heater is
reactivated.
This process goes on until the time defined for the heating step is completed (tx).
When heating profile with hysteresis is used, probability of adverse effect on the the max.
reached temperature due to the following conditions is minimized:
Having low water input temperature and ambient temperature,
Having low input voltage,
Having much amount of water taken by the machine,
Adding water from the detergent drawer.
8.3. Antifoaming Profile
Following profile is used to decrease foam formation at the end of main wash:
Discharge the water in the machine after the main was step is over. (If extra water is
taken before the water is discharged, foam overflowing will be encountered.)
o Motion in the discharge 80 rpm - 12 sec on - 10 sec off)
Wait for 2 sec.
Take water in time. (10 sec; may vary subject to the control systems.)
Wash for 5 min. in woolen wash percentage. (To defoam)
o Motion 30 rpm - 3 sec on - 80 sec off)
Discharge the water and continue with end-of-main-wash spinning.
o Motion in the discharge 80 rpm - 12 sec on - 10 sec off)
