8.4. Foam Detection and Defoaming Algorithm
Water level control is performed during spinning to determine if foam is formed or not in the
machine; if formed, profile will be applied to defoam and discharge.
If the measured level is higher than the determined foam level,
o Mootor is stopped for 280 seconds, (motionless stand-by)
o Water will be taken for 4 sec.,
o Motor is stopped for 30 sec., (motionless stand-by)
o Psafety 4 + 6 sec pumping will be made.

o Psafety 4 + 6 sec pumping will be made.
o Spinning starts again.
This control will be repeated 3 times in each spinning.
If the foam level is still high at the end of 3 tests, skip spinning and pass to the next
step.
Extra rinse is added according to the number of foam detection.
o If it is 1-2-3, 1 rinse,
o If it is 4-5, 2 rinses,
o If it is higher than 5, 3 rinses will be added.
If the foam level is still high after trying 3 times in the final spinning step, programme
will be finished without spinning.
