9.6. Water Counter (Hot water valve model)
Water counter is a component connected onto the water input line which measures the
volume of the passing water and inform the control system.
Water counters are located at the back of the water input valves. They are mounted on each
of the lines from valves. (Main wash valve and prewash valve)
Basically, in water counter structures, there are radial and axial propellers that can rotate
with the water passing through them. With each turn, a magnetic element connected to
these propellers sends an impulse to the control system. Thus, depending on the
characteristic of the water counter, number of impulses may be related to the volume of the
passing water.
A machine using water counter also uses water level sensor. However, the task of water
level sensor in this machine is to perform basic controls such as deciding to take in water
again, check the heater safety level, door opening level or foam level.
If there is an error in water counters or connections thereof, water is taken in by water level
sensor.
Water counter must always be assembled in vertical position. Otherwise, it cannot perform
correct readings.

Water counter cannot measure the level of physical water in the machine; it only measures
the quantity of water taken in to the machine.

Operation Voltage : 5 V DC
On / Off Speed : 420±10 impulse/liter
While the propeller of the water counter is rotating, if
it is on or off should be seen by short circuit control
from the terminals of the counter.
