When 220V is applied between contacts 3 and 1, between contacts 3 and 2 must switch to
off position.
9.12. Heater
It is used to heat up the water in the drum.
Since it is an electronically controlled machine, there are two thermic protectors
(thermofuses) at heater inputs.
When the heater operates dry, thermic element that is overheated open circuits the heater.
Open circuited heater cannot be reused. To prevent waterless operation of heater "during
heating", heater safety water level (Psafety) is defined in the microprocessor. When the
water level measured by the water level sensor falls below defined Psafety level, heater is
deactivated.
When the water temperature read by NTC reaches "selected temperature", heater is
deactivated by the microprocessor.

9.13. NTC
It is a component used to measure the temperature of the water in the drum, whose
resistance decreases against temperature increments.
When the water temperature reaches the set temperature, it is deactivated by the heater
relay on the card.
Picture 9.21 NTC
Operation Voltage : 230VAC 50-60 Hz
Power : 1950W
Resistance : 26W ± 3
When the resistance is read at both tips by
Multimeter, approx. 26 should be read.
Resistance (25 C) : 4773 ohm (4.2%,siemens)-
4837 ohm (3.2%,elth)
Operation Temperature : -10C...+100C
Thermal time constant : 16 2 sec
Resistance values read from the NTC ends by multimeter
will be matched with the following table. These values
should approximately be read.
