Parameter Description
■ [n-m], (n-m), or ([n1-m1,n2-m2,a,b,c,n3-m3]): Represents
a mixed notation of single numbers and multiple ranges for
prefixes and suffixes. To represent a prefix, the notation is
enclosed by square brackets [...]; to represent a suffix, the
notation is enclosed by square brackets which are enclosed
by parenthesis ([...]).
For example, to denote numbers 123 through 130, 455, 766,
and 780 through 790:
✔ Prefix: [123-130,455,766,780-790]
✔ Suffix: ([123-130,455,766,780-790])
Note: The ranges and the single numbers in the syntax must
have the same amount of digits. For example, each number
range and single number in the example above consists of
three digits.
'Tag'
tag
[DialPlanRule_Tag]
Defines a tag(s).
The valid value of the tag:
■ Up to 16 characters (alphanumeric and special characters
such as the dollar $sign).
■ Case-insensitive.
■ The tag can be a name (e.g., "India") or a name with a value
(e.g., "Country=India").
■ You can configure multiple tags, where each tag is
separated by a semicolon (e.g., "Bel-
gium;Country1=England;Country2=India").
■ The value can include dots (.). This can be useful, for
example, when you need to configure the tag as an IP
address in dotted-decimal notation.
Note:
■ Only one tag name can be configured without a value. For
example, "Belgium;England" is an invalid configuration. An
example of a valid configuration is "Bel-
gium;Country1=England;Country2=India".
■ Tag names with values (i.e., name=value) must be unique.
For example, "Country=England;Country=India" is an
invalid configuration. An example of a valid configuration is
"Country1=England;Country2=India".
■ The tag cannot start with a dot (.); it can be used anywhere
after the first character. For example, ".Country" is an invalid
configuration. Examples of valid configurations are
"10.1.1.2" and "Country=USA.NY".
■ The same tag can be configured in multiple Dial Plan rules.
Importing Dial Plans
You can import Dial Plans and Dial Plan Rules from a comma-separated value (CSV) file on your
local PC running the Web client.
