22. TI LOOP
All dove clamp screws shall be tighten with a torque of 3,1Nm.
All screws fastening the clu sters an d interface to t he base plate shall b e tighten w ith a torque of 1,5Nm.
22.1 General
WARNING: The TI loops modules are critical components, both w ith regards to laser sa fety and pro per han-
dling of the comp onents inside the module.
Use rubber finger cots while handling optical components to avoid staining or otherwise d amaging optical coating. Imprints from the
unprotected fing ers will c ause overheating and damage of optical com ponents.
Left and right TI Loops are identical modules. But the right module is turned upside down related to the left module, in o rder to fitto
the engine assem bly.
• Service within the T I loop for left channel can be done by removing the Top cover following the below instructions.
• In order to do service inside TI loop for right channel, the entire compartment needs to be disconnected from base plate and
removed from the complete engine. B eyond this, the procedures for service and repair of the modules are equal.
