10. O PTICAL ADJUSTMENTS
10.1 Perfecting the lightning path

The projection system provides traditional facilities to adjus t x & y orientation of the lighting mirror to ensure the DM D active image
area is illuminated and available light is fully utilized.
Additionally, the system has facilities to adjust the focus plane of the light beam at rod exit s ide
(rod focus) towards the DMD by
adjusting Relay tube focus.
The system also features possibility to perfect the color u niformity within each leg through adjustment of the TI Loop mirror.
All these elements contribute towards providing the b rightest, sharpest and most uniform image as possible in this class of projection.
10.2 Lightning Mirror adjustment:
Located on the Illumination engine, outside the folding m irror assembly you find traditional mirror adjustment. Two adjustment knobs
allow you to adjus t the orientation of the mirror. The u pper knob (A) adjusts the Horizontal (X) direction while the lower knob (B) is
for Vertical mirror adjustment (Y ).
