20. SCHEDULED OPERATIONS
20.1 About

This section outlines replacement of parts which hav e a pre-deļ¬ ned life cycle, where replacement is required at regular intervals.
Such parts adhere to a life cycle manage ment sys tem w hich prompts the user when r eplaceme nt is due. R esetting the part life cycle
in the service menu m ay be required.
The GP6 platform LF M has 2 main service intervals, 20.000 hours and 40.000 hours.
If optical components such as color wheel, phosphor whee l or laser c lusters have been replaced, it may be necessary to do an index
adjustment of the color wheel and/or phosphor wheels. See chapter "Colorwheels", page 47 for details.
All service intervals shall be c arried out by authorized service technicians in controlled environments, typically at a service cen ter
20.2 20000 hours LFM Service
20.2.1 Phosphor wheels (2 pcs)
The projector covers mu st not be removed when performing this proced ure.
CAUTION: Heavy lifting! Barco recommen ds two persons c arry out t his procedure.
1. With the unit covers still installed, place the unit on its r ight side.
2. Release 7pcs ( TX10 M3x8 wa sher) used to secure the Bottom Cover

3. Release 5 screws (Tx 10 M3x10) us ed to
secure each cover for the P hosphor wheel compartments.
4. Release 3 screws (Tx8 M2.5x6) securing the phosphor wheels.
