15.1 CLGA
The C LGA is the connector panel sandwiched between the PCB DMD and the DM D device. It is important it is
kept free of contam-
inants if s erviced. Each contact point of the CLGA is a “C” shaped spring which secures adequate tension between pads on DM D
boards and the D M D chip.
Important! Do not use w ipes to clean the CLGA, as m icroscopic particles from the wipes m ay catch on the C shaped spr ings and
cause contact problems (more often than not, this will m anifest itself as vertical lines).
