Settings
Reset function
You can reset the Cascade to the factory
settings.
! Select Reset functions in the system set-
tings.
! You may now select Delivery status,
Reset settings or Delete personal data.

Delivery status
The Cascade is reset to the factory set-
tings. All settings are reset. Personal
data is deleted.
•
Reset settings
All settings made are reset to original
values. Personal data is not deleted.
•
Delete personal data
Personal data is deleted. Settings are
not reset.
! In the following prompt, select Yes to
reset the settings or
No to continue
without a reset.
A reset is performed if
Yes is selected.
The Cascade switches itself off briefly
and then back on again automatically.
Data backup
You can use this function to backup the
address book data and the fast access
functions for navigation, telephone and
address book and load previously saved
data back onto your Cascade.
! Select Data backup in the system set-
tings.
! Turn the rotary control/push button
to select one of the following op-
tions:
Secure data or
Load data
.
! Confirm your selection by pressing
the rotary control/ push button .
