Remove the following parts:
• Piston
• Pin
• Pump body
• Spring
• Diaphragm
• Spring
1. Piston
2. Pin

Pump body
4. Spring
5. Diaphragm
6.
Spring
Inspection
Inspect the fuel pump check valves. If tears, dis-
tortion, or damage
is
found, replace the fuel
pump.

Inspect the fuel pump body and outer plate. If
004686 cracks, nicks, distortion, or damage
is
found,
replace the fuel pump.
IMPORTANT:
Do
not re-use the diaphragm set
once removed.
Always use a new diaphragm set.
