Disassembly
Before disassembly:
•
Remove the powerhead. Refer to REMOVAL
AND INSTALLATION

p. 134.
• Remove the cylinder head assembly. Refer to
cylinder head Removal

140.
Use a screwdriver to straighten locking edges of
lock washer, and then remove timing pulley nut.
Remove the
lock washer, upper guide, timing pul-
ley,
key,
and lower guide.

Remove screws, oil filter cap, and oil filter.
