twist
and remove
spark
plug
leads.
Disconnect the battery cables at the battery.
Drain engine
oil. Refer to Engine Oil
on
p.
52.
Remove side covers. Refer to SIDE COVER
on
p.180.
Remove the manual starter. Refer to Starter
REMOVAL
on
p.
219.
Disconnect water hose from thermostat cover and
oil pan. Disconnect breather hose from cylinder
head cover and air silencer.

neutral switch/switch bracket.
Then disconnect the switch
lead connector.
Disconnect the caution
lamp lead wire connector.
