bar stock or machinist's straightedge and a
feeler
gauge set.
Measure distortion across six
locations. Cylinder
head warpage must not exceed 0.002
in.

mm). If measurement exceeds this limit, resurface
or
replace cylinder head.

Move the cylinder head
in
a figure eight pat-
