measure the following:

the thrust and
axial directions.
• Piston pin hole diameter
in
the thrust and axial
directions.
Piston pin outside diameter:
• Standard: 0.5510
to
0.5512
in.
(13.995 to
14.000 mm)
• Service limit: 0.5504
in.
(13.980 mm)
Piston pin hole diameter:
• Standard: 0.5513 to 0.5515
in.
(14.002 to
14.008 mm)
• Service limit: 0.5524
in

Piston pin to piston pin hole clearance:
• Standard: 0.0001 to 0.0005
in

piston pin and/or piston.
Connecting Rods
Measure the connecting
rod
small end inside
diameter.
If measurement exceeds service limit,
replace
the connecting rod.
• Standard: 0.5514 to 0.5517 in. (14.006 to
14.014 mm)
• Service limit: 0.5528
in.
