• Viewthemostrecent,high‐leveleventsgeneratedby
thisAP.
• Enableandconfigurepersistentloggingtowritesystemeventlogstonon‐volatilememorysothatthe
eventsarenoterasedwhenthesystemreboots.
•SetaSeverityLeveltodeterminewhatcategoryoflogmessagesaredisplayed.
•SetDepthtodeterminehowmanylogmessagesaredisplayedinthe
Eventlog.
• EnablearemotelogrelayhosttocaptureallsystemeventsanderrorsinaKernelLog.
ConfiguringPersistentLoggingOptions
Ifthesystemunexpectedlyreboots,logmessagescanbeusefultodiagnosethecause.However,logmessages
areerasedwhenthesystemrebootsunlessyouenablepersistentlogging.
Note:TheAPacquiresitsdateandtimeinformationusingthenetworktimeprotocol(NTP).Thisdata
isreportedinUTCformat(alsoknownasGreenwichMeanTime).Youneedtoconvertthereported
