aclientshowsasauthenticatedtotheAP,itwillbeabletotransmitandreceivedata.

•IftheAPusesIEEE802.1XorWPAsecurity,however,itispossibleforaclientassociationto
showonthispageas
authenticated(viatheIEEE802.11security)butactuallynotbe
authenticatedtotheAPviathesecondlayerofsecurity.
