5.3 AC LINE CORD
Perform the following procedure to remove/replace the chassis line cord. Cord selection is made according to the
system line.
1.
Power-down the system and set the main circuit breaker to OFF.
2.
Disconnect the ac power cord from the rear of the VNR assembly (Figure 5-4) and the connecting
electrical outlet.
3.
Replace the ac line cord by connecting it to the rear of the VNR assembly (Figure 5-4) and the
appropriate ac electrical outlet.
4.
Set the main circuit breaker to the ON position and power-up the system.

5.4 VNR UNIT
Use the following procedure to remove and replace the VNR.
WARNING
High voltage is present. To prevent injury to personnel, wait five minutes
after powering down the system before removing the cover on the VNR
assembly or power supply PCB, to permit all high voltage capacitors to
completely discharge.
