Remote port will be unable to connect to the host system and cannot change any
of the configuration data. The local operator will be able to change the
password, dialstring, and configuration data.
Remote port will only be able to connect the host system IAC port or
communicate with the user terminal. Unable to change any of the configuration
data. The local operator cannot change password, dialstring, or configuration
data.
Remote port can connect to both port/pairs of the host system, and can change
the configuration parameters. The local operator cannot change password,
dialstring, or configuration data.
The remote connection is established to the host
There is currently no remote connection.
