6.4.3.1 Installing the ESD Kit (see Figure 6-8)
1.
Remove the black mat from its carrying bag; remove the wrist bands and other materials from the
storage pockets of the black mat.
2.
Spread open the black mat and place it on a flat work surface with the storage pockets facing down and
the snaps facing up.
3.
Press the snap fastener of the straight cord onto any of the four snaps of the black mat until the snap
fastener is firmly in place.
