2.10.9 <BREAK>N - Remote Mode - NONE
This command is used to 'un-patch' the remote terminal. It can be issued by the system console or remote
terminal, and is independent of access level setting. The command does the following:
•
ENABLE local console (if DISABLED, Read-only, or Conversation)
•
Terminate USER mode (if in USER mode)
•
Terminate SYSTEM mode (if in SYSTEM mode)
Following the <BREAIC>N command, the following message will be displayed on the Remote
terminal.
2.10.10 <BREAK>Q - Access Level VIEW/CHANGE
This command is used to determine the system access level at the MV17800 computer. The command can only
be issued at the system terminal.
In response to the <BREAIC>Q command, the following message will be displayed at the system console (and on
the user terminal if in USER mode):
2.10.11 <BREAK>R - Local Console Read-only ON/OFF
This command is valid from the remote terminal when in the SYSTEM mode and is used to prevent the local
terminal from sending any data while still being able to receive output. The command is useful when automatic
responses from both the local and remote terminals are interfering (cursor position information, i.e.).
NOTE
A
terminal set to Read-only by command <BREAK>R is still able to issue
COMSWITCH-II <BREAK> commands.
