CAUTION
Do not connect GND, SGND and REF to different (external) ground refer-
ences.  GND,  SGND  and  REF  are  internally  connected  through  filtering
circuitry  which  can  be  permanently  damaged  if  subjected  to  voltage
drops over 0.8 Vdc.
