Step 0B - Assemble the Reader
For Matrix 320 700-030 (C-Mount), the first step to perform is to assemble the accesso-
ries that make up the reader. Refer to
Matrix 320 C-Mount Assembly, starting on page 46
and Matrix 320 C-Mount Mounting Instructions, starting on page 68.
DL.CODE Illuminator Management Procedure
Step 1B - Connect the System
Refer to "Step 1A - Connect the System" on page 1.
Step 2B - Mount and Position the Reader
Refer to "Step 2A - Mount and Position the Reader" on page 3.
Step 3B - Focus the reader
To focus the reader, refer to Advanced Setup for Manual Adjustable Focus Models (C-
Mount), starting on page 22
, then place the reader at the factory focused Reading Dis-
tance and go to "
Step 4 - X-PRESS Configuration" on page 6.
1. Connect the reader to DL.CODE as
described in this chapter.
2. In the DL.CODE Device menu, click the
Settings > Settings > Maintenance Set-
tings > Current Illumintor Model item
and select the illuminator being used
from the list.
3. Click OK and at the device reset prompt
click Yes and wait until the device
resets. You can confirm by reopening
this item from the same menu.
