VF Noise Test Results
To run the VF Noise Test, select the test on the POTS Toolbox and press K.
Figure 4-24 shows an example of a VF Noise test results screen. In this
example, the pair has acceptable Metallic Noise (Nm), but the Power Influence
(PI) value is above the acceptable threshold as defined in Setups.

From this screen, you can run other tests:
• Press A(
Contin. Nm) to run a continuous Metallic Noise test.
• Press B(
Contin. P.I.) to run a continuous Power Influence test.
• Press C(
Power Harmonics) to see the individual harmonic frequencies
that combine to make up the Power Influence noise measurement.
