Table 5-2. Ping Results
Result Description
Target Displays the URL or IP address of the selected Ping Target.
Target IP
Displays the IP address of the selected Target.
Local IP Displays the IP address used by the 990DSL II for the Ping
operation. For PPPoE, PPPoA, and DHCP connection types,
this address is assigned by a DNS server. For a Static IP
connection type, this address is the Static IP address entered
on the secondary Ping Setup screen (see “Ping Setup
Details”).
Pkt Sent Displays the number of packets sent, selected in the primary
Ping Setups screen.
Pkt Lost Displays the percentage of packets lost (not received by the
Target) during the Ping operation.
Min Time Displays the minimum time required for the Target to receive a
sent packet.
Avg. Time Displays the average time for the Target to receive a packet.
Max Time Displays the maximum time required for the Target to receive
a sent packet.
