3 Remove the jammed paper at the top.
Note • If the paper is torn, make sure no piece of
paper remains inside the machine.
4 Remove the jammed paper at the bottom.
Note • If the paper is torn, make sure no piece of
paper remains inside the machine.
5 Close the bottom right cover.
Note • A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the bottom right cover is
even slightly open.
6 If a finisher is installed, return lever 1a to its original position and close the front cover
of the finisher.

is even slightly open.
Paper Jams in the Output Tray
This section describes how to clear paper jams occurring in the output tray.
1 Remove jammed paper from the output tray.
