5 Push the removed unit back to its original
position.
6 Close the right cover of the finisher.
Note • A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the right cover of the finisher
is even slightly open.
If you cannot remove jammed staples even after you perform the above procedure,
contact your local Fuji Xerox representative.
Staple Jams in the Booklet Staple Cartridge (For Finisher D4 with Booklet
Maker)
The following describes how to clear a staple jam that occurred in the booklet staple
cartridge of the Finisher D4 with Booklet Maker (optional).
1 Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the finisher front cover.
2 While pressing the lever for R2 R3 to the
right (1), pull the staple cartridge unit out of
the machine (2).
3 Hold the booklet staple cartridge by the tabs
on both sides and lift the cartridge out of the
unit.
