7 Push the transfer module in completely (1)
and turn green lever 2 to the left (2).
Note • If you cannot turn the lever, pull out the
transfer module halfway and insert it into
the machine again.
8 Close the front cover.
Note • A message will be displayed and the
machine will not operate if the front cover
is even slightly open.
Paper Jams in the Bottom Left Cover
The following describes how to clear paper jams occurring in the bottom left cover.
1 If Tray 6 (A4 High Capacity Feeder) is
attached, grasp the handle on the top left
side of the tray and slowly pull out the tray
until it stops.
2 Grasp the release handle and open the
bottom left cover of the main unit.
3 If paper is jammed at the top, remove the
jammed paper.
Note • If the paper is torn, make sure no piece of
paper remains inside the machine.
